The 95th Fighter Squadron, also known as the "Boneheads," is a United States Air Force unit based at Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida. It was first activated in 1942 and has served in numerous conflicts, including World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and more recently, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
The squadron is equipped with the F-22 Raptor, a fifth-generation stealth fighter, and specializes in air-to-air combat, air-to-ground attacks, and reconnaissance missions. It is one of the highest priority squadrons in the Air Force, having been tasked with safeguarding US airspace and providing support to ground troops.
Throughout its history, the 95th Fighter Squadron has earned numerous honors and awards, including seven Distinguished Unit Citations, four Air Force Outstanding Unit Awards with Valor, and the Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation. Its motto is "Any Time, Baby," which reflects its readiness to deploy at a moment's notice.
